Sugababes weren't splitting up, they just had nothing planned at the moment. Heidi was working hard on dancing on ice, Amelle was working on a solo career whilst Jade was doing her own thing too. A lot of fans were worried that it would be the end of Sugababes 4.0. There were a lot of rumours that the original members were about to reform. Heidi Range didn't mind at all. She was sure it wouldn't effect Sugababes 4.0. She was happy for them, they were all talented. There was no hard feelings, none at all.
The Sugababes were not dying, it was just the start of a new chapter for the girls. But for Heidi it was the most important time of her life. She could not survive another line up change. But it was her own personal life that was suffering from a line up change. She was suppose to have gotten married to Dave at Christmas, but they both decided it was time to go their separate ways. She wished him nothing but the best in life. Everyone was shocked, they had been together for years and fans felt sad for her. But she couldn't pretend any more. Her heart had belonged to someone else. Someone she took for granted. She had the same dream about that person every night.
It was Keisha Buchanan. Ever since Keisha was ousted from the Sugababes, Heidi would have the same sort of dream once or twice a month. Not just any old dreams but velvet dreams of seduction. A dark passion play of romance.
Heidi danced in her dress. She wanted nothing more than a cuddle from her lover Keisha. Scooping Heidi up in her arms, Keisha carried her home and placed her in bed. Keisha climbed into bed with Heidi. She burrowed under the covers and kissed Heidi's lip. It made Heidi giggle and she cuddled close to Keisha, stroking her arm as they both sang bravely to each other.
They continued that way for a long time. Every day, Heidi hurried home so she could curl up with Keisha. She was on overload in her head whenever Keisha kissed her lips.
There had been times when either Amelle or Mutya were sick that the two of them had to perform as a duo. Keisha and Heidi would always smile at each other and Heidi could feel the goosebumps and the emotions. Heidi was too lost in Keisha.
The clock hit twelve, and Heidi was getting ready to go to bed. A reflection of the black lady rose behind her. Keisha came right up to Heidi and she thought that she was going to faint.
"Hello," Keisha said round. "What are you doing over here all alone?"
"Oh, just going bed," Heidi said and immediately wanted to die and go to heaven.
"Let me join you!"
"Join you?" Heidi gasped.
"Well yeah," Keisha said. "We always share a bed."
"We did? When we were in the band but," Heidi muttered. Her shoulders collapsed and her face blushed. "... well I did dream about it. Did you dream it too?"
"You didn't dream it Heidi," Keisha replied. "It was the real thing." Heidi's heart leapt. If they were together at midnight, that meant that Keisha might ...
Keisha swept Heidi into her arms, bent her on the sheets, and kissed Heidi passionately, slipping her the tongue and groping her hips.
A rustling of the silk below them flew such grace that they were almost dazzled. There were so many things that Keisha and Heidi wanted to say to each other, but for the time being they were going to enjoy the precious time they lacked.
