Chapter IX - Insipid Flock

After an entire day of torrential rain, raging wind, and frequent lightning, the cast of “Bloody Lips” had managed to stay put and wait for the storm to end. With the town completely deserted for some odd reason, along with the film crew, some of the actors had started to suspect that something fishy was going on.

Mandy Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Terry, their director, had decided to search through the hotel again in case the crew had come back, oblivious of the terrible fate that had come to one of their co-workers; Hayden Panettiere, who had met her maker in her room while Terry and the others were searching for life downstairs.

“Where the hell are those guys?” Lindsay wondered.

“We still have a few rooms to go, maybe someone stayed behind?” Michelle was getting her hopes up, but was pretty certain that they wouldn't find anyone.

“I did knock on every door. Let's just hope they were asleep, or so hung over that they couldn't answer,” Terry reminded the girls that he had tried to look for the crew here earlier.

Door by door they went through the entire floor with the skeleton key, but didn't find a trace. All of the crew's clothes were still there, though, as if they had left in a hurry. There were no signs of struggle, or foul play, but something was out of place…the air seemed somehow different than last night when they got in. It was a feeling, like the building had suddenly developed emotions and was very upset that these people were going through its every room.

Finally they had finished searching downstairs and it was time to pick up Hayden from her room. There were no crew booked on the second floor, but Terry decided to check the rooms anyway.

“I'll go check on Hayden, you gonna go through these rooms?” Michelle asked.

“Yeah, just in case…you go on and check on her,” Terry started to get nervous, his conscience had started to bother him about what she had done to the poor girl earlier. What if she just crumbled and told these girls everything? He'd be completely screwed and wouldn't probably work in film ever again.

“Hayden, you in there?” Mitch knocked on Hayden's door as Terry started going through the rest of the rooms in the hallway. Mandy and Lindsay just stood between them, not sure what to do, or even how to stand.

“Hayde, come on! Open up, will ya?” Michelle knocked harder, but heard nothing from inside.

Terry was getting more nervous by the second when Hayden didn't seem to answer, but he continued going through the rooms, spending as little time in the hallway as possible in case she would open the door. Michelle stood in silence in front of the door and tried to listen whether anyone was inside. Lindsay and Mandy walked up to her, trying to listen through the door.

“I can't hear anything,” Mandy shook her head.

“Terry, get over here!” Lindsay commanded Terry to open the door immediately, which he reluctantly did.

The girls stepped into the room while Terry decided to stay outside. What would have been more horrible? Seeing her drained corpse on the bathroom floor, or…seeing just an empty room, like they did?

“I guess she's not here,” Mandy looked around casually, but Mitch wasn't giving up so easily.

Michelle went through the bathroom thoroughly, searching for any kind of mark that Hayden had even come back to her room, but found nothing. She even kneeled down and looked under the bed like checking for monsters before going to sleep, but the entire room was in the same condition it had been in the morning.

“Goddamn! Where did that little bitch go?” Lindsay lost her temper, going off alone was the last thing to do in a situation like this.

“Linds, come on,” Mandy tried to calm Lindsay down, but Michelle was more than irritated about the comment.

“You know what? You're not anyone to talk like that,” Michelle raised her voice.

“What the fuck is your problem? We're probably in danger of getting killed and she doesn't even leave a note where she's gone?” Lindsay yelled at Michelle.

“How the hell do you know what happened, huh? Maybe she saw some people walking down the street and went after them?” Michelle confronted Lindsay, suggesting that Hayden had left in a hurry.

“Guys, seriously, I don't think we should fight,” Mandy tried to calm both girls down.

“We have absolutely no way to find out where she went, and you're telling me to calm down? For all we know she could be dead by now!” Lindsay continued her rant.

“Shut up!” Michelle was ready to punch Lindsay in the face, but Terry walked in to stop the fight just in time.

“Mandy's right, fighting isn't going to help us. Let's just go through the rest of the hotel and then head back to the bar, maybe she walked back there through a different street and we just didn't run into her,” Terry felt somewhat relieved that Hayden wasn't there, but at the same time his worry started increasing.

“Fine, let's just do that,” Michelle sighed.

“Are we okay now, Linds?” Mandy asked Lindsay, who just nodded, but still seemed visibly upset.

“I'll finish up the search, you guys should probably stay here in case she does find her way back here, okay?” Terry suggested and was agreed.

Terry walked out of the door, Mandy and Michelle sat down on the bed and Lindsay started walking about.

“I don't believe that she would just leave without a good reason…I wonder what happened to her?” Michelle tried to straighten her head.

“Maybe she just disappeared like the rest of this place?” Mandy came up with a likely solution.

“I don't want to believe that…those people could be lost forever,” Michelle denied the loss of her friend.

Hayden's disappearance was really no different from the rest of the town; sudden, unexpected, and without a trace. There were things that most of the girls were failing to see, things that were present everywhere, but seemed to come to life in this small town. It was a blessing for people not to see them, if they did know what was lurking in every alley, every street corner, every apartment, they probably wouldn't sleep so well at night. There was only one person in this group that had caught a glimpse of that nightmarish world - Lindsay.

That feeling of anger in the hotel that Michelle and Mandy just felt was somewhat visible to Lindsay's eyes. There it was again; staring from the bathroom floor with those lifeless eyes, as if waiting for her to turn her back so it could attack. She froze again when she saw the monstrosity; her eyes unable to close before the creature, and her legs completely paralyzed to the spot.

Lindsay was tempted to just yell to the creature and ask what it wanted from her, or just approach it and bash its head against the wall, but the fear was too great. She just stood there gazing back at it, but didn't mention what she was seeing to Mandy and Michelle.

“I wonder how Amber and Elisha are doing?” Mandy wondered.

“Dear God, I hope they didn't start drinking again, it's so stressful to look at those guys when they're…” Michelle shook her head tiredly.

“Yeah, I know…by the way, did you notice something strange about them today?” Mandy asked, having spotted some difference in their behavior.

“Yeah, a little bit, but I think it was the booze to be honest. I don't think they would do anything to each other now that they're sober,” Michelle remembered the moment in the back room when Amber and Elisha had gotten very comfortable with each other until she had burst into the room.

“Do anything? What do you mean?” Mandy obviously wasn't aware of what was going on, and Michelle wasn't going to rat her out.

“Just, you know…I think they're both upset about this whole thing like the rest of us.”

Lindsay tried to wipe her eyes to make her vision go away, but this time it didn't seem to be working. The creature grinned and lay down on its back with its mouth wide open, and soon a black puddle of blood formed under it. She looked in horror as the abomination started cackling hellishly, the booming voice filling her head, and the rotting smell creeping up her nostrils up to the point of nausea.

“Would it be a good idea to leave now that Hayden's…” Mandy suddenly interrupted her own sentence when she heard silent whimpering behind her. She turned around with along with Michelle, and noticed Lindsay looking very troubled. She looked like a weeping wax sculpture staring at the bathroom doorway.

“What do you think she's doing?” Michelle whispered.

“I don't know about this stuff…do you think it's detox?” Mandy suggested.

“Yeah, I think so. We have to talk to her; this might get dangerous if this keeps up,” Michelle stood up and slowly walked to Lindsay.

Lindsay stood there mesmerized when Michelle shook her shoulder and startled her, breaking her eye contact with the monster.

“Sorry, are you okay?” Mitch asked as Lindsay quickly turned her head back to the bathroom where the thing was still lying.

“Um, yeah…I guess I'm okay,” Lindsay answered.

“Listen, I'm sorry about what I said. I'm just…it worries me that she's out there alone, but I thought it was kind of hurtful, what you said,” Michelle explained herself.

“Yeah, I'm stressed out, too, I shouldn't have said those things,” Lindsay accepted the truce.

“I was wondering if we could talk, just the two of us. The bar can wait in case Hayden shows up,” Michelle tried to lure Lindsay into a conversation where she'd bring up the strange behavior.

“Sure, we can talk,” Lindsay nodded and Michelle lead her out of the room and away from the disgusting spawn of hell, leaving Mandy to sit all alone on the bed.

Chapter X - First Impressions

“You know what?” Amber slurred as she poured Elisha another drink, “I'm so glad we didn't go with those assholes.”

“I'm not so sure this was such a good idea, either,” Elisha said and took a sip from her glass. She had thought to stop drinking for the day, but the anticipation and boredom were too much to handle while sober. There was also the fear lurking inside her head that something might happen, luckily the whiskey seemed to do just the right trick.

“Hey…hey, Elisha,” Amber started giggling hysterically, obviously thinking about something hilarious, “You know…you know what's funny?”

“That we're getting drunk while everyone else is doing something useful?” Elisha humored Amber, but the answer was wrong.

“No, no, no…what's funny is…a dead baby!” Amber's morbid joke didn't get much of a reaction out of Elisha expect a smirk.

“Hey, you know what's funnier than a dead baby?” Amber continued her roll, but didn't notice that Matt had just walked in, “A dead baby in a clown suit!”

“You must be Michelle's friends,” Matt walked to the drunken girls still wearing the same white suit as yesterday.

“Holy shit, I just said that a dead baby is funny in the presence of a minister,” Amber calmly stated breaking into laugh right after.

“A fair assumption, but no, I'm no minister,” Matt corrected Amber and leaned over the counter.

“So, what are you then? And how did you manage the mass disappearance?” Elisha decided that it was her turn to try and get answers out of this guy.

“I do work for the Lord, that's all you need to know,” Matt glanced at the empty bottles in front of the girls, “You know, at times like these it's very sad when young women like yourselves have to rely on intoxicating substances to feel good.”

“What, you got something else that'll make me feel good?” Amber stated half-jokingly.

“Yes, but not quite what you had in mind,” Matt continued, “Amber, why aren't you out there with the others trying to find your friends?”

Amber stared at Matt's stern face in disbelief that this man was going to waltz into the bar and start lecturing her, “Listen fuckface, you don't know me and I don't know you, so you don't even have the right to talk to me, so would you be kind enough to fuck off?”

“Amber, stop it,” Elisha was embarrassed for her friend.

“Now, why would you get upset from a simple question like that unless there was something in the back of your head telling you that what you're doing is wrong?” Matt preached, “But you're right, I don't know you…but I know someone who does.”

“Whatever Mitch told you is bullshit, okay? That little slut is always running her mouth in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Amber thought that he was talking about Michelle and downed her drink with a loud gulp.

“No, I'm not talking about her. I'm talking about Him, He who knows you better than anyone else, and He thinks that you're not living life like you should, both of you,” Matt managed to get both Amber and Elisha's attention.

“Another bible thumper comes knocking on the door, Jesus Christ…don't you people ever quit harassing us?” Amber realized who she was talking to.

“And taking His name in vain is the least of your sins. If you don't realize your mistake in life, your soul will never leave this place,” Matt said, further aggravating Amber.

“Well that's just great…so, tell me oh-minister-holier-than-thou, what is my biggest sin? Premarital sex? Drinking and driving? Oh, I know! It was the dead baby joke, wasn't it?”

“Sloth,” Matt answered with one word, but didn't ring many bells in Amber's drunken head.

“I'm a tropical animal, huh? That's cool,” Amber nodded, trying to stifle her laugh as she poured herself another drink, “What about my friend here, I bet she's way high on your shit list, she's Canadian!”

“I know I'm not doing what the bible says, but I don't think everything in there is what Jesus wants us to do,” Elisha's opinion differed slightly from Matt's.

“You bend his rules to fit your sick, perverted desires. To you the most important thing in life is what you get and how much of it. Like all God's children, you've been lead off the path by the devil, and your current actions are sickening to His glory. You need to change your ways now, or your soul will be lost for all eternity,” Matt preached as the girls weren't paying too much attention.

“You didn't answer the question there, did you?” Amber pointed out Matt's cryptic answer.

“Greed,” Matt finally answered.

“Hell yeah, it's greed! Is it wrong that I want compensation for my work? What if you got paid ten times less than now, think about that,” Elisha took the accusation personally.

“The Lord provides me with everything I need,” Matt started, but was interrupted by Amber lifting her fist in the air.

“Buddy, don't lead me to temptation!” Amber growled ready to knock Matt's teeth in.

Matt waited for Amber to lower her hand and go back to her drink before continuing, “Your sins can be redeemed, both of yours. All you need to do is let the Lord guide you back to the right path and your lives will be meaningful and happy again.”

“I'm just fine the way I am, aren't you, Elisha?”

“Yeah, I don't need redirection from this guy,” Elisha nodded and finished her drink.

“Poor lost lambs, you too are out of my reach. I shall let my partner deal with you, like Michelle and the other one,” Matt said disappointedly and walked to the door.

“It seems you didn't do much to Michelle, she seemed the exact same as before,” Amber chuckled.

“Not yet, her time will come soon. I can't say the same about the blonde girl, though,” Matt's words caught attention once more, “Her soul will remain here like hundreds of others, like yours will, for all eternity.”

As Matt exited the bar, Amber and Elisha were left staring at each other.

“What the hell was he rambling about?” Amber wondered.

“Who the fuck knows…these religious types are as cryptic as the other one,” Elisha answered grabbing the bottle and forgetting about the glass for now.

***

Lindsay and Michelle were sitting in the hotel lobby engaging in their agreed conversation. The redhead's weird behavior had alerted some people to think that she was on something, but they had no clue what was really going on.

“Has everything been going well? I mean before all of this…mess,” Mitch asked.

“Yeah, as good as always I guess. I'm not dancing on roses, or anything like that, but nothing out of the ordinary,” Lindsay tried to cover up her nightmares.

“Okay, that's good,” Michelle paused for a second, trying to formulate the question so that Lindsay wouldn't feel threatened, “You know, Mandy and I noticed something back in Hayden's room. You had a glassy stare and you were heaving.”

Lindsay's heart jumped into her throat, “Heaving? I…I didn't notice, are you sure it was me?”

“Lindsay, I'm sure. Is there something going on…something that you can't really discuss with us?”

“Well, if I can't discuss it with you…” Lindsay tried to get out of it lightly, but the voice of reason inside her head was telling her that it was time to tell the truth, “I've…I've been seeing things,”

“Seeing things?” Michelle asked, “What kind of things, I mean…did you take something?”

“Geez, of course…whenever I'm acting strange I have to be…fucked up on acid, or something,” Lindsay shook her head, having guessed Michelle's reaction.

“No, I was just…seeing things that aren't there is pretty crazy,” Michelle tried to fix her statement, but wasn't helping much.

“But they are there, the things I see. I can hear them, smell them…I saw it again in Hayden's bathroom,” Lindsay started sobbing.

“What? What did you see in there?” Mitch tried to get it out of her.

“It was a…monster. The same monster I've been seeing for a while, now. Back home only in my dreams, but when we came here, it…it…” Lindsay tried to explain, but the emotion was just too strong to simply let it out.

Michelle first looked at her with disbelief, but as Lindsay continued the story, it somehow started making sense.

“It's chasing me in my dreams, and now I'm seeing it all over this town. In the bar, in a window of some completely random building, and now it was…lying on its back in the bathroom, bleeding and laughing at me. I hear its whispers in my head…that what we're doing is wrong, and we should stop…drinking and fucking and doing everything wrong.”

Those last words made something click in Michelle's head; it was something that Matt had said to her, pretty much the same thing. With the disappearance and the weird weather, this couldn't have been a coincidence, right?

“Lindsay, look at me,” Michelle turned Lindsay's head to her, “Did the monster ever say a name, or anything resembling a name?”

Lindsay looked at Michelle with tears in her eyes trying to remember, and something did pop in her head, “I heard…I don't think it was the monster, but there was a whisper in my head…Azrael. I've heard that somewhere before, I think it said Azrael.”

“Azrael?” Michelle had heard it somewhere before, but couldn't place it at the moment, “I've heard it somewhere, too. It didn't mention any others?”

“No…at least I don't think so. I was so scared, Mitch…I was so scared,” Lindsay embraced Michelle crying, finally telling someone of the horrific visions she was having.

***

Mandy was still sitting in Hayden's room when Terry walked in, obviously without finding anyone.

“No one?” Mandy asked, getting a headshake from Terry.

“Where did Michelle and Lindsay go?” Terry inquired.

“They…they went downstairs to talk, we should probably head down, too,” Mandy decided not to tell Terry about Lindsay's little incident.

“Hold on a sec, did you search the room completely?”

“Yeah, the drawers, the bed, the bathroom…nothing,” Mandy sighed.

“Really…let's check again, just to be sure,” Terry suggested, hoping to clear any evidence that he was in Hayden's room before. Mandy started going through the drawers again while Terry checked the bathroom; the place where he'd seen Hayden last.

Now that Hayden was gone, Terry didn't really have anyone to turn to in need. Their deal had been simple; they'd be together for the duration of the filming, but wouldn't divulge their relationship to anyone.

“I'm not finding anything curious,” Mandy informed Terry that things were the same as 20 minutes ago.

“Keep looking, there has to be something,” Terry walked out of the bathroom and stopped in the doorway to ponder over the problem.

Mandy bent down to check the bottom drawers of the desk one last time, and her pose caught Terry's attention. Her ass was just trying to burst out of those tight jeans she was wearing, and the opportunity to bond with this girl in time of crisis was probably a lot quicker way to eventually get in her pants.

“Look…I know things are looking really bad right now, but it's gonna work out,” Terry switched on his sensitive-mode and slowly approached Mandy.

“Yeah, I know. As long as we can get out of here alive,” Mandy pointed out that they weren't out of the woods yet.

“You must be terrified right now…I mean, this place seems like a ghost town,” Terry continued his attempts of seduction.

“Not really, I think there's gonna be a rational explanation for all this. As long as we don't go off by ourselves…we should be fine,” Mandy gave her point of view casually, but Terry wasn't going to back down that easily.

“Yeah, we should all stick together. If you have anything, like problems or just something to say, you can come to me, okay? We're all going through this, you don't have to feel like the only one.”

Mandy started to smell the rat and she turned around to see Terry standing in front of her.

“I think Lindsay's the most upset right now, you should talk to her and try to make her feel better,” Mandy shot Terry down before he even got to grabbing distance.

“Yeah, I know that Lindsay's upset, she's upset about everything, but what about you?”

“Nothing you need to worry about. If you didn't find anything in the bathroom we should go downstairs, right?” Mandy tried to be peaceful about it and tried to walk past Terry, but he grabbed her and tried to kiss her.

Mandy quickly pushed him back and looked at him in disbelief. Terry stared back at her like he had done nothing wrong, but stopped advancing.

“Terry, stay away from me,” Mandy informed Terry that he wasn't coming anywhere near her.

As she walked down the hallway toward the stairs Mandy's eyes were finally opened; what in the hell did she ever see in this guy? He wasn't a good guy, an honest guy, or in any way good enough to do favors like this for. What had happened to Hayden? Maybe it was him…maybe he upset her somehow and just sent her packing?

“We should never have come here…”

Lindsay had calmed down by the time Mandy and Terry came back down, and Michelle gave the singer the look indicating that everything was okay.

“No sign of anyone, Hayden's completely vanished and the storm doesn't seem to even calm down for a minute. We're gonna have to steal a car if we want to get out of here,” Terry updated everyone in the room.

“We should head to the bar, then?” Michelle was ready to go along with Mandy who was going to spill her guts as soon as Terry would get out of earshot.

“Wait a minute, maybe we should just wait a few more minutes? You know, in case Hayden does come back?” Lindsay suggested.

“No, I don't think that's a good idea,” Mandy immediately protested, not wanting to spend any more time with Terry.

“We can't split up again, Mandy. What if she does come back and we're gone?” Lindsay made a fair point.

“What the hell are we supposed to do, wait until we get kidnapped like the crew?” Terry was losing his temper.

“How do you know they were kidnapped?” Mandy gave Terry the look of suspicion.

“Look…I don't, okay? But we shouldn't stand around here like a bunch of idiots waiting for the same thing that happened to those villagers happen to us,” Terry tried to reason with the girls, but the numbers eventually stood against him.

“Waiting a few minutes can't be that bad, right?” Michelle agreed with Lindsay.

“Fine, if everyone's okay with it, I guess,” Terry sighed.

Mandy took a look at Terry, Lindsay, and then Michelle, “I need to pee, where's the bathroom?”

“It's over here, I'll show you,” Mitch guided Mandy through the hallway, leaving Lindsay and Terry alone in the lobby.

“So…are you feeling alright?” Terry asked, faking sympathy.

“Yeah, I'm fine. Everyone seems to be asking me that lately,” Lindsay laughed.

“Yeah? That's good, really good,” Terry nodded, but couldn't care less.

Meanwhile Mandy and Michelle had found the bathroom, and both of them had news to report.

“I think Terry's somehow involved in this,” Mandy said as she entered the stall.

“Terry? What do you mean?” Michelle looked confused.

“He tried to…he tried to kiss me up there, and he was acting really funny the entire time.”

“Congratulations, you've noticed that Terry has a dick?” Michelle smiled.

“No, it goes deeper than that…I think he's responsible for whatever happened to Hayden.”

“Hayden?” Michelle suddenly remembered the conversation she had with Lindsay yesterday.

“I think they were sleeping together…that's why he didn't want to come into the room,” Mandy gave her theory, “Didn't Hayden seem a little too excited about leaving home, her boyfriend…to come here? That's a little suspicious.”

“Yeah, both Lindsay and I noticed it…but he wouldn't hurt her, would he?” Michelle contemplated whether Terry was crazy enough.

“I think he at least yelled at her, and she decided to leave,” Mandy stepped out of the stall, “Anyway, that's just an idea. I've got nothing to back it up.”

“Yeah…I figured out what's going on with Lindsay,” Michelle revealed her story.

“It's not drugs, then?”

“No, it's not,” Michelle paused and wiped her eyes tiredly, “She's been…seeing things.”

“Seeing things?” Mandy asked, not sure how to take the comment.

“Like, around town, things that she's seen in her dreams. Not like it first sounds, though…monsters.”

“Monsters? Mandy laughed, “And you think she's completely clean?”

“She told me things…she told me things that Matt said to me, things she couldn't have heard from any of us. And since the town's deserted…”

“Okay, I'll bite, who is this Matt you keep talking about?” Mandy smirked a bit.

“Just some guy we met at the bar, he's like…a holy man, or something. But the weird thing is…he told me stuff that Lindsay had heard…from the monster.”

“The monster again, listen to yourself!” Mandy tried to slap some sense into Michelle, “Whenever someone says monster it doesn't really give a powerful argument to the point they're trying to make.”

“Listen, you can believe what you believe, but I think there's something going on here that we're not used to seeing,” Michelle stood her ground, not giving up her argument.

“So, what did this Matt say that was so similar to Lindsay's nightmare?” Mandy tried to understand Michelle's point.

“He said…a lot of religious stuff, about sin and how the world's not living how it's supposed to live.”

“Every preacher in this country can tell you that.”

“Lindsay said something about a name…Azrael. Have you ever heard of it?”

“It does sound familiar…isn't he an archangel, or something?”

“Yeah, I thought so, too. Anyway, that's all I got on top of my gut,” Michelle confessed that she hadn't been able to provide enough proof.

“I don't know, I guess it could have some truth to it…but it could also be a complete coincidence. The best thing we can do now is just to get Amber and Elisha, and leave this town for good.”

Chapter XI - Killing Time

“Yeeeeeah! Now it's properly block-ade-ed!” Amber said feeling accomplishment for pushing the stack of furniture in front of the door.

“That's good, that's really good, except for the fact that how the hell are we gonna get out of here?” Elisha laughed watching the pile covering the exit.

“Hell, we don't need to go nowhere, we got enough booze in here,” Amber pointed at the bottles on the wall that were sooner or later going to wash down to their impending doom, “That little fortress will also keep us safe from crazy preacher-men.”

“Where the hell are those guys, shouldn't they be back by now?” Elisha looked at her watch while Amber struggled to sit down on the stool properly.

“Man, fuck this fucking chair…” Amber cursed and climbed on the counter.

“What the hell are you doing?” Elisha wondered about Amber's incomprehensible plan.

“I'm gonna take these,” Amber reached out and grabbed two bottles from the row, “And then I'm gonna…” she didn't even finish her sentence before she fell down behind the counter.

“I got it! The bottles weren't damaged!” Amber yelled as Elisha giggled at her friend's misfortune.

“You know what, what's back there anyway?” Elisha decided that it was her time to crawl on the counter and fall face first on the floor.

“Watch out, I puked on there!” Amber pointed at the floorboard next to Elisha's landing spot.

“Ewwww! Why'd you throw up back here? Couldn't you go to the bathroom, geez…” Elisha freaked out and pulled back next to Amber.

“Well, I would have, but I fell from the…counter,” Amber laughed and opened a fresh bottle of Jack.

“Phew! It's fucking hot back here…gimme that!” Elisha grabbed the other bottle from Amber's lap.

Elisha wiped her forehead of sweat and proceeded to open the bottle while Amber adjusted her position by leaning against the counter and placing her feet against the wall.

“You know, I don't think the whiskey's helping the temperature in here,” Amber moaned and burped loudly.

“Yeah?” Elisha looked at Amber in confusion and decided that since the whiskey was liquid, it had to be cooler than the air.

“What the hell are you doing?” Amber followed in awe as Elisha poured Jack Daniel's on her forehead.

“It's good, it helps!” Elisha said and stopped pouring the fluid on her face.

“You know…” Amber spotted something under the counter, “There would have been this,” she grabbed the water bottle and showed it to Elisha.

“They have bottled water here? Haven't seen one damn TV around here, but they got bottled water!” Elisha grabbed the bottle from Amber and started washing off the whiskey from her face with the water.

“You're making a mess…and man, do you stink!” Amber smelled the strong scent of whiskey on Elisha's shirt.

“Hey, check this out! Jack and water!” Elisha was about to pour both the whiskey and water on her at the same time, but Amber managed to take the Jack back.

“What the hell's wrong with you?” Amber scolded.

“Relax! Look, I'm sorry…can I have the bottle back?” Elisha reached out with a sincere face, and Amber had no other choice but to give back the bottle.

“But what the hell is causing this heat?” Elisha kept complaining and drinking.

“I think there's a boiler in the basement, or something…but you're right, it wasn't this hot an hour ago.”

“Hey, I know! Let's go run in the rain for a second and then come back in!” Elisha cheerfully suggested.

“That's a good idea, except that I just blocked the doorway with those fucking chairs and…fucking tables. I think we can get out of the window, though. You wanna?” Amber asked.

“Nah, too much work. We've been tortured enough for the day,” Elisha gulped down a fairly large amount for her size.

“Dude, seriously, you stink!” Amber commented on Elisha's brilliant idea of washing her face with Jack.

“Relax, the water's gonna wash it off…I hope. Is there more water here somewhere?” Elisha noticed that the booze smell wasn't coming off so easily.

“I think that was the last one…look, just stick your head out of the window, I think that's more efficient than just washing the Jack on the floor,” Amber suggested.

“Fuck, you're right,” Elisha agreed and jumped back over the counter.

“Get rid of this,” Elisha got rid of her soaked top, and wearing only her white bra and pants she opened the window and stuck her head out.

“Ohhhh, dude! You gotta try this!” Elisha yelled and Amber clumsily climbed over the counter.

“Yeah, catch pneumonia, what a treat!” Amber pointed out that Elisha was soaking herself in cold water that was running down her chest.

Amber walked over to the window with a bottle in her hand, but Elisha quickly took hold of it, “Gimme!” the blonde downed a few shot's worth and handed it back to Amber.

“I think you'd better come back in,” Amber said as the smell was starting to fade.

“Quit whining, you're next!” Elisha laughed and gargled the rain water in her mouth.

Amber watched as the water flowing down Elisha's next ran between her big breasts covered by the thinnest bra that was quickly becoming see-through in the water.

Maybe it was the booze, or something else, but something inside Amber made her to just want to grab them, even if to disguise the act as a joke. She wanted to try out whether she'd feel anything different.

“You come back in here,” Amber jokingly commanded, and firmly grabbed Elisha's soft breasts making her giggle.

“What are you doing?” Elisha laughed, but wasn't coming back in.

“I'm gonna rip your bra off if you don't come in!” Amber threatened to take it one step further.

“Go ahead, I don't give a shit!” Elisha basically gave the OK to see if Amber would actually do it.

Amber didn't have to be told twice and just ripped the thin fabric off Elisha's chest. As the bra came off, the round globes bounced a bit and the hard nipples were pointing up at the sky. She proceeded to give them a gentle massage as the girl who was enjoying the touching was laughing with her head out of the window.

“What do you think? Hot, right?” Elisha asked.

Amber didn't answer, instead she lowered down and gave Elisha's right areola a kiss, sending warm shivers through the blonde's body.

A quiet yelp escaped Elisha's mouth as Amber's lips continued pressing against her nipples, and soon she felt a hand running up her thigh. She couldn't help it anymore; she had to pull herself back inside.

“You wanna do this?” Elisha asked and closed in on Amber with a kiss.

“Yeah,” Amber replied with a single word and her lips.

Elisha ran her hands up and down Amber's back and continued the gentle kissing like she had done this before, and she had, but Amber was still new with this, so she'd have to take some advice along the way.

Elisha's wet breasts were pressing against Amber's shirt and just soaking it all the way through to her nipples. The shirt came off quickly, and so did the bra, leaving the two young women making out drunk and topless in the warmth of the bar.

After a few minutes of teasing, Elisha made the next move by unzipping Amber's jeans. Her hands slowly slid near the warm cavity and started feeling the wetness that wasn't caused by the rainwater on her hands.

“Come on, baby…do it for me,” Elisha whispered and placed Amber's hand between her legs, gesturing her to rub it through her pants.

Amber did as told and ran her fingers back and forth on the fabric, feeling the gushing warmth increasing with every stroke. Elisha's hand was much further in Amber's pants; she had slid the panties to the side and was now rubbing her finger against her snatch.

After catching on, Amber removed her hand from Elisha's crotch and started pulling down her pants. She had to kneel down to get them down to her ankles, but when she removed the last piece of clothing that was on the young blonde, she felt that getting down on her knees wasn't such a bad idea. A bare, shaven pussy lay in front of her, and as Elisha leaned back against the wall arching her back she took the opportunity to taste a woman for the first time.

The look on Elisha's face when the tongue touched her clit was not of this world, but the sounds that started coming out of her were sweet as honey. She stroked Amber's hair as she was given the tongue treatment, but was surprised that this girl was doing this for the first time. Receiving enough had probably granted her enough information on what to do.

Amber eagerly worked her tongue on Elisha's clit, and the thought of this girl returning the favor was driving her crazy. She looked up at her subject who was squeezing her breasts and moaning by command of her tongue and watched carefully what each different lick made her do. Amber kept upping her speed until her mouth felt like a machine lubricated with Elisha's sweet-tasting juice. The blonde cried out when her orgasm hit like a freight train bashing her against the wall with violent convulsions, but Amber was keeping her mouth just where it was by grabbing onto Elisha's tight ass.

Elisha squealed and shook when her orgasm finally came to and end and smiled at the thought of what was coming next.

“Oh…well that was very nice of you, I wonder what I could do to pay for that,” Elisha smiled as Amber stood up and gave her a deep kiss, “Maybe I could…give you your own pussy to taste.”

“Uhm…you wanna go in the back?” Amber suggested that the couch would probably be better.

Soon Amber was lying on her back on the couch completely naked, and Elisha was ready to let her tongue do the talking. She lay down on top of Amber and placed her body so that she was neatly between her legs, but was still in reach of the girl under her.

Amber gasped when she felt Elisha's tongue pushing inside her cavity and back out. She once again placed her hands on Elisha's buttocks and pulled her sweet slit into her mouth, but was now distracted by what was going on between her own legs.

While placing her finger inside Amber, Elisha started placing soft kisses on her clit. She slowly pushed her middle finger deep inside and rolled it around to get a feel where she'd have to go. Whenever she hit a certain spot, Amber let out a louder moan than before, so Elisha started working that area with conviction while still keeping her lips on the clit, making sure that this poor girl wouldn't stop gasping and groaning.

“Ohhhh! That's it, right there,” Amber interrupted her tongue to inform Elisha that she had found just the right spot.

Elisha smiled with delight and stuck another finger into Amber's pussy so she could cover more ground. With the brown bush under her chin, she started suckling on Amber's clit in hopes of giving her the most powerful explosion she had ever had. Elisha powerfully thrust her fingers into Amber's wet snatch hitting her g-spot every time, and she was also starting to work a little bit of teeth into her oral lesson. She gently pinched Amber's clit with her teeth and made her violently cry out.

“Ohhhh! Elisha, baby! Eat my pussy, baby!” Amber growled at the pleasure of having Elisha's mouth on her privates.

Unable to concentrate on her task, Amber let her fingers sink into Elisha's cunt while she laid back and tried to imagine what was going on between her legs. She managed to push three fingers inside Elisha and started fucking her fast, feeling her first orgasm with another woman approaching.

“Come on, baby…come for me! You know you wanna cum on my hot mouth and my fingers,” Elisha moaned and increased her fingering, now completely devoted to working Amber's g-spot.

“Ohhhhh, GGOOOODDD!” Amber cried out as her pussy started squirting on Elisha's hand.

The flow of juice shooting out of Amber was caught by Elisha's mouth, who tried to get as much of the fluid in her mouth as possible. Elisha's fingers milked her empty until her moaning subsided, and after that happened the blonde turned around to kiss her. They joined in a passionate French kiss, exchanging each other's pussy juices with their mouths.

After the ordeal was over and the two girls were lying in each other's arms, they smiled happily about deciding to share their bodies with one another.

“So…how was it?” Elisha asked how good of a teacher she was.

“It was…it was perfect,” Amber sighed, remembering her first experience with a guy and how horrible that was.

They both fell asleep on the couch, not remembering that Terry and the rest could walk in any minute…and even if they remembered, they didn't care.

Chapter XII - Dead End

Amber woke up on the couch next to Elisha and remembered what had happened. She carefully got up and checked her watch that was on the table, she had only slept for ten minutes or so, but Elisha seemed to be fast asleep. Feeling of nausea started to come over her, the whiskey was about to make a quick comeback. She grabbed her pants from the floor and rushed into the bar where she found her shirt.

“Fucking pants,” Amber cursed as she struggled to put her clothes back on.

Even though it was raining outside, she didn't want to wake Elisha up with a wonderful sound like barfing in the bathroom, so she decided to climb out of the window and find an alley to get rid of the booze inside her.

Trying hard to hurry, she managed to fit herself out of the window without much trouble, and conveniently she spotted an alley right across from the bar. Not that anyone would mind her puking on the street, but she still didn't feel comfortable doing that.

Running a few feet down the alley, she stopped and started gagging the whiskey out of her system. The cold rain wasn't making her too comfortable, either, so even though she was puking her guts out, she wasn't feeling too much better than before.

“Fucking Jack Daniel…should be shot,” Amber moaned.

When she was finally finished, she cleared her throat and gargled the rain in her mouth and spit it out, but as she turned to face the bar, she noticed that she wasn't alone in the alley; a dark shape was now blocking her path.

“Terry, is that you?” Amber asked, not recognizing the character.

The shape just stared at her with lightning striking in the sky behind it, and very slowly it started advancing toward Amber.

“This isn't funny, you're really scaring me!” Amber yelled, trying to stop the practical joke, but with every step the shape took, she started realizing that it wasn't Terry, “Who are you? Do you know that happened to all the villagers?”

When she didn't get an answer and was only three feet away from the dark figure, she decided to take the chance and run. As she picked up her speed, the shape behind dashed after her. What the hell was it? Who would want to hurt her in a place like this? It wasn't time for questions, it was time to run like hell.

Although the alley seemed endless while being chased, the street at the end was getting closer, and from there she could lose the guy.

“Help!” Amber yelled right before she entered the street and started running toward the hotel, Terry and the others would take care of this guy.

Amber glanced behind her hoping that the guy had quit, but he was still there, not giving up although they could see the hotel lights in the distance. She tried to run faster, but the shape was still catching up on her…all she needed to do is run a 100 feet more and she'd be safe inside the hotel.

The assaulter's breath was down on Amber's neck ring up until the hotel doors, where the footsteps behind her disappeared, but she was too frightened to look behind her. She opened the doors and once inside, slammed them in relief. Completely quiet, she listened for sounds on the other side, but heard nothing. The rest of the hotel was empty, too, no sign of Terry, Mandy, Michelle, or Lindsay in the lobby.

“Terry! Is anyone in here? Help me!” Amber cried, but received no answer.

Dead silence took over the room for a few seconds, until it was broken by a bellowing voice, “I am here!”

At that moment Amber felt a sharp pain in her back, piercing through her like warm butter and coming out of her abdomen. She couldn't see what it was, but the blood seeping out of her stomach suggested that it wasn't just a dream. She fell down on the floor in shock, but had enough willpower in her to try and crawl away, even though the attempt was desperate. She couldn't get away; one by one, her limbs were all pierced by the unknown weapon until the puddle of blood had completely overwhelmed her. Like the fate of poor Hayden, hers also was blood loss.

“Your heart does not belong to God, your deny Him of your soul, and you let other vermin like you own your body…you'll join the sacrificial lambs, like all of your friends eventually will.”
